The best choice to Rent this car. We received a very very clean car. We had confort, the bed is Perfect, kitchen gear is quality. There is a lot of space to rang personal items. The car is amazing! A truly 5-star experience !  We rented a vehicle from Adventus for a 2-week trip through Kgalagadi and Mabuasehube.  It was a smooth experience from the initial engagement and the information supplied around the vehicles, through the booking process and on to the eventual collection of the vehicle.

When collecting the Kudu (the vehicle we rented) everything was explained in great detail, and Louis (and his wife) made the collection process very personal - even sharing some personal pictures of their trips to Kgalagadi.  Returning the vehicle was again quick and efficient, and even included a [persona "debrief" on our holiday and sharing stories about barking gecko's - they really care about their clients.

The vehicle was simply amazing - it literally comes equipped with everything you could ever need.  From a very comfy bed and a well-stocked kitchen to ample space to pack everything.

Our trip included 5 days of off-grid wild camping in Mpaya Camp in Mabuasehube, and having power, lighting and a hot water shower really made camping life a breeze.  Kudu treated us extremely well - it never faltered, never got stuck and was all-round a pleasure to live with !

I can without doubt advise anyone who is considering 4x4 camping but is wary of the rough side of it to consider Adventus.

This Rental has been a game changer !! We rented the Koedoe bosluis for our Namibia trip and it was just fantastic and more than I had ever imagined. The vehicle is so well thought out and equipped with everything you could ever need. The kitchen is so functional and lots of working space. We brought another freezer along and there was ample space as well as ample battery power ! We never went below 75 percent capacity - such a peace of mind when your foods remain cold and frozen !!! Everything is spotless and in excellent working condition - from the new  tires to the  recovery gear - which we used to pull other vehicles out, we never got stuck. The thick comfortable mattress and space in the cabin ensured the best bush sleeps and experience I have ever had. Louis is super professional and quick to answer any queries . A huge thank you to the Adventus Team for making our Botswana trip truly unforgettable! From start to finish, everything was organised seamlessly and the vehicles were in excellent condition.

The fact file provided with all the necessary documentation was incredibly helpful, especially when crossing the borders, and made the whole process so smooth and stress-free.

There is only one 4x4 company to rent vehicles from in South Africa and that is Adventus. From the moment you do the hand over with Louis to the day you return the vehicle you know you are in safe trusted hands. Louis looks after you every step of the way and stay in touch no matter where in africa you are. You cannot get a better quality vehicle on the market than the ones that Louis has its not only that they are 79 series Land Cruisers but the equipment on the vehicles is of the highest standard in the market. There is alot of experience and knowledge that has gone into building these work horses which are in exemplary condition. We could never have done our 1 month trip through africa without this vehicle and Louis unwavering 24x7 support. I cannot but literally cannot wait to do it again. An Amazing 4x4 Adventure Experience

We had an absolutely fantastic experience renting from Adventus 4x4. From start to finish, Louis’s communication was excellent. His instructions were incredibly detailed and included everything we needed to know for a successful 4x4 adventure.

We travelled as two vehicles, and renting Gemsbok with the Bosluis setup was incredibly convenient. We spent six days completely off-grid, and the water tank was more than sufficient for hot showers and keeping us comfortable throughout our stay.

One of our favourite features was being able to sleep comfortably inside the Land Cruiser without having to step outside during the night to use the toilet. We also rented the Porta Potti, which made a huge difference, especially when camping in remote areas where there were leopards around the camp!

The Land Cruiser itself was incredibly powerful and handled the 4x4 terrain with ease. We felt safe and confident throughout the entire trip. Louis was also extremely accommodating with our special requests and was always willing to help. He took the time to explain all the functions of the vehicle.

We felt very safe, comfortable and well equipped throughout our two-week Botswana and West Coast adventure. It was the perfect setup for an off-grid trip with all equipment included for any recovery.

We would rent from Louis again anytime and would highly recommend Adventus 4x4 to our friends and family. Fantastic service, an excellent vehicle and a brilliant adventure experience!

It was pure joy to rent a vehicle from Adventus 4x4 Rental! We did a trip through Africa with 8 other vehicles, and wouldn’t swop our vehicle for any of the others! It was easy to cross borders as we had all the necessary permits and paperwork. The vehicle was in tip top condition and easy to set up- took only a few minutes and we were ready to go! The vehicle was extremely well equipped with everything we needed, we only had to take our clothes. It was a comfortable ride and very spacious. We were ready for any circumstance and were the only vehicle who had no problems whatsoever on the trip. Thank you Louis! It was a pleasure to deal with you as you answered all questions and showed us in detail what to do. Without a doubt we will rent from you again! Hopefully in the near future. Louis ci ha consegnato il Land Cruiser Bosbok con cellula camper Bushlapa a Pretoria presso la casa dei nostri amici Danie e Carina e lo abbiamo potuto riconsegnare sempre a Pretoria dopo un viaggio di oltre 4.000 chilometri in Sudafrica e Botswana. Assieme a Danie e ai suoi amici abbiamo percorso piste in sabbia con molti passaggi in acqua profonda e fango nel Central Kalahari, a Moremi e  Savuti fino a raggiungere Kasane per una gita di un giorno alle cascate Vittoria. La vettura si è dimostrata all’altezza delle nostre aspettative: dalla cabina di guida con il praticissimo portaoggetti sopra il cruscotto e il frigorifero per le bevande, capiente ma poco ingombrante; la grande autonomia dovuta al doppio serbatoio di gasolio; la cucina perfettamente attrezzata con ampio frigorifero e congelatore, fornello a gas con due fuochi, padelle e stoviglie a sufficienza, illuminazione in ogni scomparto, lavello e serbatoio da 120 litri per l’acqua, grande tenda da sole sotto la quale ci siamo potuti proteggere durante un temporale; la zona notte dove si può stare in piedi con pratici scomparti per i vestiti e la biancheria e il comodo letto matrimoniale con piumino e biancheria, l’impianto elettrico con panelli solari che ci ha fornito sempre corrente elettrica a 220 volt che ci ha permesso di offrire agli altri membri del convoglio corrente per ricaricare qualsiasi apparecchio. Fortunatamente non abbiamo dovuto utilizzare il verricello e i numerosi attrezzi forniti in dotazione. Avevamo già noleggiato numerose vetture con attrezzatura da campeggio in Sudafrica e in Namibia. We rented a Landcruiser 79 with Bosluis conversion from Adventus 4x4. Our vehicle was named "Bosbok". The vehicle was in perfect condition and  Louis was incredibly helpful throughout the process. Our trip started in Cape Town then on to Pretoria where several other couples joined us for a Botswana experience. Our trip Through Botswana included Khama Rhino Sanctuary, Lekhubu Island, Khumaga  and the Nxai Pan National Park. Conditions were very challenging requiring several recoveries which were made fairly easy with the extensive range of recovery tools supplied with the vehicle.  Our routing back to Pretoria was via Nata Lodge. We were very fortunate in that we were able to hand the vehicle back to Louis in Pretoria and then fly back to Cape Town. The whole experience — from the initial communication with Louis, to the vehicle itself with every detail thoughtfully considered, to the final handover — was an absolute pleasure. Congratulations to the Adventus 4x4 team!

We are two rookie 4x4 drivers and inexperienced campers who had never done wild camping before, taking on the Botswana side of the Kgalagadi alongside two very experienced, well-equipped 4x4 campers. I was secretly terrified (without showing any of it to my apprehensive wife). Would everything go well? Would my wife — who definitely prefers a bungalow — enjoy this? Would we manage the loose sand and dunes?

The Springbok had everything we needed — and more. Louis had thought of absolutely everything, and all of it was top quality: excellent tyres, upgraded suspension, quality kitchen equipment, and ample storage space. Louis even installed a permanent two-way radio for us at the very last minute!

We never got stuck. We travelled in comfort and style. The experienced 4x4 guys both took turns driving the Springbok and immediately agreed that it was far more enjoyable to drive than their own vehicles! In their experience, most rental vehicles are poorly maintained and sparsely equipped with cheap gear. The Springbok was exactly the opposite — it excelled in every area, with an impressive list of standard features. Of all the optional extras available, we only added the beam light and the scorpion torch. We lacked absolutely nothing.

After 2,800 km and 12 nights, my experienced friends concluded that their adult children should rather rent from Louis and Adventus than buy their own vehicles.

And my apprehensive better half? She became a very happy camper. She slept comfortably and was especially grateful not to have to climb onto a vehicle roof or struggle dressing within a rooftop tent. The Springbok’s interior was surprisingly spacious, allowing two people to stand and dress comfortably at the same time. The awning was sturdy and incredibly easy to deploy. From parking the vehicle to sitting down with a G&T took us less than 10 minutes. By the end of the trip, we became so efficient that we could pack everything away and head out for a game drive within minutes!

All in all — a genuine 5-star experience.
